Agreement to terms

By accessing or using nawt ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by nawt ("we," "our," or "us").

What the Service does

nawt is a job application tracker that connects to your Gmail account to automatically detect, classify, and organize your job application emails. The Service provides a dashboard to view your applications, track statuses, manage interviews, and receive notifications.

Account and access

  • You must sign in with a Google account and grant read-only Gmail access for the Service to function.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from your account being compromised.
  • You may disconnect Gmail access or delete your account at any time from the Settings page.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or abuse the Service.

Free and paid plans

  • The free plan includes core tracking features with a limit on the number of applications tracked.
  • Paid plans unlock higher limits and additional features. Pricing is displayed on the pricing page and in the app.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings. You retain access to paid features until the end of your billing period.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any purpose other than personal job application tracking
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service beyond your own account data
  • Abuse rate limits or attempt to overload the Service
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent free plan limits
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications

AI-generated content

The Service uses AI to classify emails, generate rejection roasts, company insights, and follow-up drafts. This content is generated for entertainment and informational purposes. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content. You should not rely on it for important decisions.

Data and privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data, including Gmail data accessed via Google APIs.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, and AI-generated content templates, is owned by nawt. Your application data remains yours. We claim no ownership over the information extracted from your emails.

Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that email classification will be 100% accurate. In no event shall nawt be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Account termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from Settings > Danger Zone. This permanently deletes all your data.
  • We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms, abuse the Service, or for any reason with reasonable notice.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
